Palty Eyebrow Mascara - Natural Brown

I'm guilty of never paying any attention to my brows.

The most I do to them is trim and clean them up and I'll seldom use powder to match them to my hair but aside from that, nothing. I disliked dying my hair lighter because my brows would be darker. So I dye my brows when I color my hair, but eyebrows grow too D:

So~ I thought it was time for me to do something to them. Well, there are quite a few products out there for eyebrows (pencils, powders, gels, mascaras and liners).

I wanted to try eyebrow mascara! It also seems pretty simple, right? haha
So I went ahead and got myself one from Palty off of Ebay for $13.00. The link I purchased from no longer exists but here is another one: LINK

One that I purchased:

Here you can see the previous color on my eyebrows (left)

Likes
Easy to apply, simple
Coats eyebrows generously
Matches hair color

Dislikes
Must wait for it to dry
Can flake/fade easily if rubbed

So there are hardly times where one would often touch their eyebrows so that part is something I'm not worried about. Overall I feel that this is a great alternative because it's quick and easy. I must say though, that results are better when this is used with eyebrow powder/pencil.

However, being the lazy bum that I am about my eyebrows.. I still hardly use this product tbh. I like thinner eyebrows and this tends to make them darker (yet matching my hair.. weird) and thicker. Maybe it's just me not being used to it though.

Question time!
Do any of you use eyebrow mascaras?
What do you do to your eyebrows?

Lens Review: BarbieDoll400 Brown

Hey everyone!

I've been having a hectic week so I wasn't able to review these until now. I've been busy and my schedule is unstable grrr >> But hopefully it will settle down soon! Here is the review:

Who here is anti-duck-lips? haha
Lens Info:
Manufacturer: Dueba
Under the label of DollyEye
Diameter : 14.5mm
Water Content : 38~62%
Life Span : 1 year

Price: $19.50

BEFORE
AFTER

Color&Design:
As you all can see, these lenses are two toned. The inner color is a cooler shade of brown which is borderline yellow. The outside has a black solid ring which gradually swirls towards the center, like a hurricane.

Enlargement:
Diameter: 14.5mm
Do they look like 14.5mm lenses? I say no, because they enlarge a lot for such a size!

Comfort:

I am very pleased with the lenses from this series so far, like the blue ones, I have experienced no discomfort with these lenses.

Overall:
Once again, I will say that I usually steer away from lenses with this design, I don't know why but I do :/ However, I must admit that I am really loving this series. They are bold yet not too out there, the color is balanced between the two tones and these brown ones are something I would wear for an everyday look (which I will!).

Yurp, so I have been dying to do my nails... *sob* And plan to do a tutorial for a fall inspired one. But I need to make sure my dentist allows me to paint my nails or not as I have just started working in that office haha (ohhh the pain for a nail polish lover in the dental field T^T)

Belated Hair Color Post ~Tutorial~

I colored my hair mid August and now am going to post up the photos I took from then x)
Sorry for it being so belated ^^''

I always had either dark brown or dark red/purple colors in my hair - never light or ashy - and I really wanted a change. Tbh I never dyed my hair light because my parents never approved of me coloring my hair any color that was not dark brown haha

But this time I just did it anyways :P However, I did darken it again... so much for trying to be a rebel (lol)

This was the result:
An older photo but it's quite accurate to my current color.
I have been using Palty hair dye for the past 4 years now and I must say I can't ever go back to the local drugstore brands that isn't an Asian hair coloring product!
2 Creamy Caramel boxes + 1 Golden Brown Bleach box
I find that palty and prettia just work so well with Asian hair because the color stays and evens out your hair color, not to mention that the color continues to get lighter even after dying your hair ;)

So here is the process of how I did my hair:

1. clipped up the to-be-bleached streaks/highlights/peekaboo spots
I also had highlights in my bangs as well, which you will see at the bottom of this post.
What the bleach box contains(minus the black bowl and brush):
2. pour bottle 2 into container
3. mix, it will have a strong bleach smell
4. add tube contents and mix
5. apply to hair that was previously isolated for bleaching
(use aluminum foil so the bleach does not touch any other areas)
The two photos to the right are the bleach results.
I left it in for approx 30min, eyeballing how light I wanted it to be.

Next I colored my as usual with the two caramel brown boxes. I left that color in for almost an hour.

Overall result:
BEFORE
AFTER
In different lighting, showing the bleached areas:
left: peekaboo, right: highlights
So depending on the lighting, it could have a reddish or orange tone to it.

After I did this my parents freaked out because in a couple days my hair actually got lighter and turned into this:
from puffy 3 tones review
So like a good girl I dyed it darker using a random drugstore box in dark brown T^T (I think it was from L'oreal)
But then it faded again and you can see how it looks in my previous posts!

Now my hair has less of a red tinge to it and at times looks ashy. I like the random areas of blonde in it too! Thanks to Jenny for helping me do my hair! Couldn't have done it without cha girrrrl ;)

The trouble now though is that my roots are growing out and I will have to figure out how to touch them up without having to re-do this entire process >>

So yup, it's harder to show how I bleached the areas and created highlights with a pictorial but I hoped this helped somewhat haha

If you have any questions feel free to ask!

Lens Review: BarbieDoll 400 Blue

Hi hi!

Sooo it's been a while since I last reviewed some lenses that weren't so natural haha
Today though, here is a pair that is bigger and dolly!

Lens Info:

Manufacturer: Dueba
Under the label of DollyEye
Diameter : 14.5mm
Water Content : 38~62%
Life Span : 1 year

Price: $19.50

BEFORE
AFTER

Color&Design:
I like the blue color a lot, it is somewhat a baby blue and it is vibrant and noticeable! The design however looks like a hurricane swirl which makes it so that the lenses do not stand out too much. I'd say that there is a good balance between the two colors.

Enlargement:
Diameter: 14.5mm
The enlargement effect by far does not represent the true diameter of these lenses. They enlarge A LOT for 14.5mm!!

Comfort:
I have no complaints whatsoever :)

Overall:
To be honest, I don't usually go for lenses with this type of design. But I went ahead and chose these and was happy that I did. They are opaque yet do not cause others to have that O.o face when they look at you haha Also, despite the enlargement effect being so big, they don't look too unnatural.

So if you guys like these, they can be found here:
And receive a 10% off code for any purchase with the code 10THT

I have these in grey and brown as well, so I will be reviewing those in the upcoming weeks ^^
Hopefully they are on par with these ones, if not better haha

Till then,
Have a good week everybody!

Tutorial: Sayoko Ozaki Inspired Eye Look

Hey there~

It's been a long time since I last made a makeup tutorial. I was supposed to figure out how to use these lashes (reviewed here) a long time ago and said with those lashes, it's either "go big or go home" haha So I thought that a heavier eye makeup look would suit the lashes a lot better!

So the one whom I took inspiration from for this tutorial is Sayoko Ozaki:

I think she is absolutely GORGEOUS.

I apologize ahead of time since this is just inspired by her and not a tutorial for her actual look.
Sayoko was chosen for inspiration because she sports the elongated cat eye look, and these lashes are long and angled to make one's eyes appear longer.

So let's get to it!

1. apply a shimmer brown color in the area shown (entire lid and above the inner corner)
2. add a darker shade of brown to the area below your crease
3. darken the lash line using a darker brown or black
4. blend the eye shadows
5. apply the darkest shade to below your lash line
6. line your top eyelid close to the lash line
7. create the outline for a long wing
8. fill in the wing
9. line the lower lash line and smoke it out with a dark eye shadow
10. apply mascara to top and bottom lashes, focus more on bottom lashes
11. apply long wispy upper lashes
12. apply lower lashes
13. highlight brow bone and add any finishing touches

And done!

FINAL LOOK

Lenses:
Puffy 3 Tones Brown (review)

haha I was in my pj's when I did this so excuse the background and what I was wearing ^^''

Okie~ So I'm seriously contemplating on whether or not I should try and make video tutorials as I have a new camera. I know there are people out there who prefer picture tutorials but... I don't know >.< I would like to try it out though, it seems fun!

Anywho,
I hope you guys liked this tutorial, let me know your thoughts ^^
