Ebay Finds: Bags x Canvas Backpacks

I don't know how many of you love Ebay, but I LOVE Ebay!! haha

I often search for things on there and for a while now, I have been searching for bags like this:

These backpacks are known as canvas backpacks and I think they are absolutely adorable!!
I am obsessed with florals right now so canvas bags + floral print = :F WANT! haha

But.. If I think realistically, I found that if I do get myself a floral bag, it would be hard to match it with my outfits.. So instead, I'll end up with something other than printed bags huhuhu TT

So here are just some finds on Ebay:

Review: Heroine Make Volume x Curl

Hi hi,

So I took these photos from a while back and was supposed to post them up the other day but things happened and I couldn't :( So it's a bit late ^^''

I purchased this mascara off of Ebay and it arrived a little later because it was free shipping from Hong Kong. And just to say, I was suuuuper excited for this mascara because ALL reviews I read were non-stop praising this mascara!

Now for some photos:

Mascara Wand:

The shape of the wand dips in the center. I find that this brush really helps in spacing out my lashes nicely and evenly. And clumps of mascara are less likely to form.

From the photo above, you can see the fibers in the mascara as well, this isn't a lengthening one, but it does a pretty decent job for that too.

My Thoughts:

I really love this mascara. From the bottom of my heart. 

Though there wasn't much volume, there was definitely curl (which is more important to me btw). I could curl my lashes with this mascara and they would stay curled for the entire day without letup. I could cry, sweat and even shower and they wouldn't fall! This mascara hardly flakes or smudges either.

BUT.

I didn't know that this mascara would be so darn waterproof.

If you do not like the hassle of removing waterproof mascara, I'm sad to say that this one is so good to the point that I couldn't remove this mascara off for two whole days haha I didn't even have to apply mascara the next day actually.

Heroine does have a mascara remover, but I am not one to go through the extra process of doing that. Only if I will go swimming with makeup on will I wear waterproof makeup #lazyvainbum

So here is a summary:

does not flake/smudge

Dislikes

too waterproof = difficult to remove

Aside from that,

I recommend this mascara 1000%

Maybe one day I will get the remover and try out their other mascara too, because I love this one that much. But for now, I gave this to my friend because I thought that she would love it too :3 (She likes waterproof makeup lololol)

Hey you all!

It's been about 2 weeks since I last posted! I've been busy working 9hour shifts with my practicum and I'm done now so here is me back to blogging!

First off here is my new new nail design!
It's been so long since I last designed my nails, and because I'm out of my school now, I can do them again! (unless I come across a dentist who doesn't approve T^T)

It's a simple design so I don't think there is a need for a tutorial :P
It's a more monotone design of mine, but I like the look and simplicity of it.

Also, I went to the states last weekend for a friend's goodbye party, there were some snaps I took, nothing too special but here they are:

 This one was super savory! And boy was it gooood!

 Ehem, a friend of mine was greedy and ordered three... for HIMSELF. He couldn't finish it x)

A little giraffe wooden statue thingy at the house we stayed at.. I thought it was pretty funnyxcute so I took a photo for the heck of it.

 We went into some stores and Jenny found such a cute romper!

 We went shopping with three boys and they are awesome! They're the type of gyus who would go shopping with you and actually give opinions haha

I really liked this top:

 They had a petting shop and I just had to go in! Because I love animals :3

 Snap outside the mall, we were ditched by the rest of the group at this point T^T LOL

 At the party afterwards, my pose is so awkward..

I drew on my own cup at the party so I wouldn't lose it haha

 The next morning we went out for brunch and so we headed over to biscuits, no matter how hard I tried, what I ordered could NOT look attractive LOL

But it tastes 100x better than it looks!

 And this was from a month ago, but I was with the same people then in Seattle too but never posted these up.

We went for bubble tea and the place was super cute! They had walls covered with polaroids that customers took there!

Review: After-Bright Long-Short Luxuriant Eyelashes

I have had these for quite some time now and finally will be reviewing them. I took these photos along with my review of the Tofi Blue lenses btw! Thanks go to KKCenterHK for sending me these lashes. So I was very excited to recieve these because they are the long-short style, which means that the ends are longer than the front. And I am very drawn to these types of lashes and those which are fuller at the ends.

As you see, the lash style is short to long. Thicker ends are a clear plus for volume!

These lashes are handmade and the quality is very nice, the stem of these lashes are very flexible and you can shape them prior to applying glue, which makes mistakes and a hot mess of glue a lot more avoidable. 

Lashes Applied:

From the photo above, you can see just how long the lashes start off, these cannot be placed near the front of my eyes if I want them to blend in. Thus, I applied them further out, closer to the center.

Likes:

long-short style

thicker ends for volume

flexible and thin band

soft and light for comfort

Dislikes:

very long

beginning of the lashes also start off long

must wear heavy makeup for better results

Truth be told, I didn't expect the lashes to be so long!! I was so surprised and just blankly stared at them when I opened the box! Really! I didn't know how to pull off such long and 'luxuriant' lashes D: It was a mistake of mine that I didn't check the measurements beforehand, so be sure to not do that too! Gosh, I felt so silly, especially since the site has all the information on there too =.=''

But, I found a way...

Collective Haul + OOTD + I. Fairy Tofi Blue

I'm not going in depth of what I purchased over the past few weeks, but I do plan on taking more ootd photos though. So I'll be wearing these ^^

Basically what I bought was coach bags(my mom loved the brown one so much she wanted one too, but I didn't want her to have the exact same one.. so she opted for black haha), sheer tops, floral tops, a skirt, dresses, a floral wallet! some hair accessories, makeup, two pairs of flats(one of which is floral!) and a wig... LOL I haven't recieved the wig just yet but I am so excited! There are certain products and items I do plan to review soon which should be a part of this picture but I forgot to include them.

I already had an idea of how these would appear as I had reviewed the tofi gold lenses already. And like the gold ones, these too are vibrant with a very unique design. The blue is a very pretty true blue and there is a nice halo seen despite the black ring there.

Enlargement: ★★★★★

I will make a post further on diameters later on. But for now, these are stated as 16.2mm and so a clear enlarging effect is given.

Comfort: ★★★★☆
These were comfy in my eyes for quite some time before feeling the need for eyedrops. But for me personally, I.fairy lenses always seem to do well for comfort.

Overall: ★★★★★
I like these! I prefer these over the tofi gold lenses. They are on the unatural side though, so I'm not sure of when I'd wear these out. Oh how I wish they had more anime conventions here or something T^T haha
