Drama Post: The Greatest Love

"The Greatest Love" > "Secret Garden"... WHAT!? Is what some people might say. BUT THIS IS THE TRUTH. Well , to me anyways :P I have never laughed so many times while watching a drama let alone laughing out loud haha So I am absolutely in love with this drama and would totally recommend it. The plot and story line leaves you on edge wanting MORE.

Anywho, here is a synopsis:

Ae Jung is a female band member who is already over the hill. When she enters a variety show to pretend marriage with the top star Jin, she gets entangled in a love triangle along with her ex-bandmate Kang Se Ri. Yoon Pil Joo is a doctor of oriental medicine who has no interest in the entertainment industry but meets Ae Jung by chance and falls for her.

Some snaps of the title:

The man in the second photo is named Dok Go Jin and he is by far, the best character ever. Because of him I laughed so hard that people around me thought I was crazy. No joke.

But once again, this is my opinion. CHECK IT OUT~

NOTD: Yellow and Abstract(?)

So this week, they're yellow!

Since the weather is getting warmer, I felt like yellow :) But leaving it plain felt very... plain. So I just randomlydesigned them this time ^^

TIP for nice coated nails: Don't go cheap on trying to save your nail polish. Be generous. VERY generous in the amount you pile on the brush.

How often does a person run out of nail polish anyways? ... like, never? haha So thickly applying actually helps it to be smooth and even. The cons though, are that it takes longer to dry and sometimes.. you could be too generous to the point it just drips :P

Nail Tutorial: Sparkling Blue, White Flowers

So I also made a tutorial for my new nails!

I haven't painted my nails for a whole two weeks! But now I'm back on track.
Here it is:

1. Apply background color
2. Create swirls and randoms lines with glitter
3. Create flower shapes
I forgot to take more pictures before this one... Sorry!
4. Using a lighter color(I used a sheer pink), dot the center of the flowers  and bring out the colors towards ends of petals
5. Dot center with brown and a larger yellow over the brown dots
6. Paint on petals
7. Apply clear coat... and done!

My friend's nails that I did for her. Green floral!
So I hope this was interesting or at least the least bit useful haha
Slowly I will improve ^^

Palty Hair Dye Review: Milk Tea Brown

Hi hi,

So yesterday I dyed my hair with palty's milk tea brown. Previously my hair was colored with palty's pure natural that was covered with loreal's plum hair dye(that faded oh so quickly T^T). I wanted my hair to lighten up a shade or two so I purchased the milk tea brown... However, all it did was touch up my roots :/

I left the hair dye on my roots for 30min, then applied it to the rest of my head for another 30min. I knew I should have left it on for a bit longer but I have my reasons :P I am happy that there are no more noticeable roots anymore though.

Some pictures:

Palty Milk Tea Brown

Palty Pure Natural

Before. My roots were actually more black and noticeable than this.
After: by window(sunny), by window(cloudy), flash
After: Indoors
Overall, I have always been palty biased. The hair dye has a pleasant smell rather than that of what the drugstore brands smell like. Palty doesn't fade easily, if not at all, and can actually get lighter as time goes by.

**Planning to dye it lighter in two weeks :T kekeke

GEO Nudy Grey Review + FOTD

GEO NUDY GREY REVIEW

Okay, so I got myself a new pair of circle lenses! Nudy greys :)

I have seen a lot of reviews on these and many people either love it or hate it... and I really like them ^^
I understand why some don't like them though, because of their design, it does make your eyes look like a lizard... BUT really it doesn't look that bad, personally. Since the lenses are a bit on the darker side people won't notice how speckly it really is, rather, they will think it looks really glossy.

So here are some pictures: (I apologize for the dark lighting -____-)

Color: 4/5 - The color was not as bright as expected but you can tell they are grey, outdoor it is more noticeable though. A lot more natural than I thought it would be.

Enlargement: 5/5 - I think it is just me but all lenses enlarge well on my eyes, even if they are just 14.0 in width(like these)

Comfort: 3.5/5 - during the middle of the day my eyes got a bit dry with these, nonetheless they were pretty okay

Design: 4.5/5 - I like the pattern of these lens, they just don't make me go "OMGAHH" about it though haha. It is a pretty design that makes your eyes look glossy and watery, crystally even.

Overall: 4/5 - At first, I was hesitant to get these because of what some people have said about them but hey, it was $15 so I might as well give it a try. Soo... I like these lens and I am going to purchase the blue ones :D I never had blue so I'm looking forward to it~

To top this off, a poser pic with the lens! LOL you can't even see them >.>

FOTD

Haha, I look so serious in the first photo, I took these pictures to see I could see the difference in my hair because... I got a haircut!

  • In the first one my hair almost reaches my navel and my shortest layer was shoulder length.
  • The second photo was after my haircut, I chopped 5 inches of my hair!!!!!! T^T but now I have no split ends and my hair is now healthy ^^ The shortest layer is now right at the bottom of my ear... I still need to get used to the new hair

Oh and...

... Actually these pictures weren't taken today more like on the weekend :P kekekeke

Coming soon - Nail tutorial!
That's all for now! Ciao~

No.1 Health & Fitness... Misconceptions

Wowwww~ It's been quite some time since I last posted.. and after trying to be consistent too Q_Q haha

I'll try harder!

Anyways, it's been on my mind lately that... many have a misconception with being thin. I know for sure that a lot of girls want to be fit and thin but are misled by media and for many(who love Asian entertainment like myself :D) set their goals based on those thin kpop etc. idols(aka SNSD).

Being thin DOES NOT mean being 167cm/5'6'' with a weight of 48kgs/105lbs. I mean some people may seriously have those stats but it is their body, their bone structure, their genetics. Heck, some are underweight.
Isn't it fine to look fit and thin(and HOT) even if you are "heavier" than others?
Who would care if you were heavier by a few pounds if you had a bangin' body?

I understand though, that it is difficult to cast away those thoughts because at times, I myself, even ponder about these things... I know T^T saaaaaaad. However, we need to keep in mind that we should set our goals according to each of our limits, to what best suits us.

It doesn't hurt to set SNSD as an inspirational target though, as long as you try to do it in a healthy way then... that's cool. Just remember some pictures are misleading though. It's called p.h.o.t.o.s.h.o.p

The all time inspirational... leg picture :P

Well, this was just a rambling but I wanted to get this out.
